If rely your judgment on one song alone particularly the first song “Where The Devil Don’tGo,” you will conclude that Elle King is an inferior version or a copycat of Adele. This song has the same vocal quality that you found in some of Adele’s song vocally and musically. However, once you listen to the whole record, you got the feeling that her handlers do not know what to do with her talent. There is a hodgepodge of different singing styles and personality.

In the first and second song “Ex’s and Ohs,” you have Amy Winehouse and Duffy rolled into one. In “Under The Influence,” you see a Dusty Springfield personality in terms of vocal performance. In “Kocaine Karolina,” you will think that this is a Sara Barreilles song or another reworking of…
