ROD STILL DELIVERS IN HIS 29TH STUDIO ALBUM

Still making good music all these years. It’s nice to know that he made another studio album instead of another compilation of traditional pop songs.

One thing which is very noticeable in this new album (his 29th studio album) from Rod Stewart is that there are lots of elements that you can find that refers to his older records.  For example, the track “Love Is” sounds like his top 10 Billboard hit years ago “Rhythm of My Heart.”  The use of guitar plucking in “Way Back Home” and “Friend for Life” seemed like both songs a salute to his classic hit (sounded like) “I Don’t Want To Talk About It.” Not only that he sounded like a repeat of younger version of himself, there is also a good deal of references that made some tracks in her sounds like tracks from other artist such as “Please” which sounds like “Man on Your Mind”…
